On November 17, the 7th English Culture Festival hosted by the School of International Education kicked off.
The Western Food Collection activity of the Cultural Festival was held in Room 309, Jingde Buiding.Teachers from the School of International Education, volunteers from the English Associations and more than 50 students from different schools of our college participated in the activity. Mr. Royce Mawson, a foreign teacher, was invited to share western food culture. He introduced in detail the types of western food, table manners and tableware, the differences between eastern and western food cultures and Chinese and western food idioms. Then the quiz Do you know? brought a wave of climax to this activity, where the students were actively involved.
English Culture Festival is a distinctive campus brand cultural activity of our college which aims to further promote the construction of campus English culture and stimulate students' interest and enthusiasm in learning English.
