On the morning of December 5th, and a delegation of five led by Feng Wei, Dean of the School of Business English at Jiangsu Vocational College of Finance and Economics, came to our school for research and exchange. Xu Jinjun, Secretary of the Party Branch of the School of International Education, warmly welcomed the visiting guests. The exchange symposium was chaired by Zhang Yuanyuan, Deputy Dean of the School of International Education.
At the meeting, both sides had in-depth exchanges and discussions on the basic situation of the college, preparation for the English speaking skills competition, construction of the English teaching staff, education and management of international students, implementation of project-based teaching reform in vocational English, preparation for the teaching ability competition, and high-quality development indicators. The teachers from both sides had in-depth discussions on key topics such as talent cultivation for international students, faculty team building, and English education and teaching reform under the background of the new curriculum standards. They also shared some good measures from both macro-policy and micro-implementation levels.
The exchange symposium ended in a warm and friendly atmosphere, and both sides expressed that they will take this research exchange as an opportunity to promote exchanges, learning, and cooperation between the two colleges in more fields.
