From November 24 to 26, the second phase of 2021 crew training of JMI-Taihua (Myanmar) Crew College was successfully held. This training course continues to follow the talent training mode of Chinese + navigation skills and adopts the teaching method that combines the online and offline instruction.
According to the overall teaching plan, this round of training mainly offers courses such as daily work specifications on board, safe operation of oil tankers, Chinese culture, etc. The participants are senior seamen with oil tanker qualifications. The tanker safety operation course is delivered by Captain Zhao Xiang and the Chinese culture course is delivered by Ms. Wang Haiyan. The teaching content focuses on the job requirements of seafarers, the practical operation skills and basic knowledge of cultural differences that should be paid attention to in China-Myanmar cross-cultural communication. The trainees actively participated in classroom interaction and communication, and have achieved outstanding training results.
