On December 8, 2021, the first faculty English Salon opened in classroom 309, Jingde building. The theme of this event is the Pedagogical Power of Stories. It is hosted by the School of International Education and the Personnel Department. More than 20 teachers attended the salon.
Richard L. Helder, the foreign teacher, gave a lively and interesting explanation with strong interaction. In the Q & A session, teachers asked him some questions related to teaching. Richard L. Helder enthusiastically shared his views, and the teachers actively participated in the discussion.
This salon aimed to help our teachers improve their English level and their ability to participate in international communication. By holding this salon, teachers have obtained opportunities for English communication and learning, and improved their English expression ability, cross-cultural awareness and cross-cultural communication ability.
