On the afternoon of November 3, the English corner activity organized by the School of International Education with the theme of College Life was successfully held in Room 311 of Jingde building. The activity was hosted by foreign teacher Royce, which had attracted more than 50 students from different schools of our college.
Focusing on the colorful college life, the students had a heated and in-depth discussion with their peers and teachers from eight aspects: school choice, campus environment, major understanding, past experience, college life and college interpersonal relationship. Through the communication and sharing, the students have accumulated English knowledge and improved their way of thinking.
After that, the participating students received an anonymous questionnaire, whose results showed that 98% of the students were very satisfied with the activity. According to the feedback of the students, the future English corner will carry out various activities on a variety of topics such as oral English communication strategies, knowledge of everyday English, English movie appreciation and so on.
