To deeply implement the decisions and plans of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China regarding “intensifying the promotion of the national common language” and to adhere to President Xi Jinping's instructions on education and language, the Department of Language Application and Administration of the Ministry of Education, together with the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League of China, have launched the 2024 “Promoting Mandarin Chinese to Boost Rural Revitalization” National Summer Social Practice Volunteer Service Activity for college students.
Two teams from our college, “Economic Prosperity and Same Language Promotion Team” and “the Voice of Blue Ocean Promotion Team”, proposed by the School of Economics and Management, and the School of Marine Engineering and Intelligent Manufacturing, have stood out among 6998 teams nationwide, and been successfully selected into the 2024 National College Students’ Summer Social Practice Volunteer Service Teams for Promoting Mandarin Chinese to Boost Rural Revitalization.
Our college will seize this opportunity as a starting point to continue to make efforts in promoting the practice and volunteer service work of our young volunteers, and strive to complete this volunteer service activity with “high standards, high requirements and high quality”.
